Bass takes the melody on Maiden Voyage intro nice! First heard Manring's name on so called New Age releases. Windham Hill records maybe... did he play with Michael Hedges too a bit?

He did, Brian D. His early fretless work was all gentle New Age on Windham Hill. I was shocked when Manring started playing prog metal.

Roberto Cacciapaglia's later recordings find their way onto Marvin Rosen's show occasionally.

I have tons of Zappa, but it's hard to fit it in, due to the tedious editing requirements (FCC language problems).
