The Disturbed is the name of the band. Totalled Vovlo is their album

The Disturbed was a '80s punk and rockabilly band made up of local high school students.

Members of The Disturbed included Crugie Riccio (Cycomotogoat), Dave Wilder (Macy Gray), Stroller White (Smashing Orange) and Ben Lewis (close friend of Chris Barron of Spin Doctors).

I'm with you KPC. It should definitely be "LAH-gos" . Spanish word for lakes. But my guess is that British influence and received pronunciation etc. gave way to that "LAY-gos" strange way of doing it.

I saw Patti Smith play a street festival in Hoboken in the '90s. Lot of fun.

Patti Smith was from Deptford, NJ, more or less. A friend of mine was in a band with her kid brother shortly. They did not get on well.

Interesting thing about Patti Smith and Hoboken in the '90s - Patti Smith was married to Fred "Sonic" Smith from the MC5. Fred Smith from Television worked at James Mastro's Guitar Bar repairing guitars.

Erin McKeown is great. She did an in-store performance when I worked at Barnes & Noble in Boston in the '00s.
