All shows must eventually come to an end, and today “Megatron Has Fallen” celebrates its season finale! Join the Decepticon army for one final dance party, featuring lots of power metal to recharge your batteries, synthwave to soothe your audials, and a specialty set that’ll have you dancing with the dead in the Well of All-Sparks. DJMW - Have you checked out the new DWTD yet?

Yes!! I was hoping to play Start the Thaw (my fav from Driven to Madness) this show, but it'll definitely make an appearance next week

Nice! I was thinking that you may play something off of the album. I've been listening to it while I have been running. It is great running music.

I am really enjoying the album. Can't wait to hopefully see some of it live in April. My favs are prob Firebird, Wyrm of Doom and Start the Thaw.

And you never can go wrong with some Japanese Breakfast. They were great live when they were in Philly during the summer with Mannequin Pussy!

Ooo, did not know they were a local band, you learn something new every day! I've seen them on the new emph shelf for a while, happy to give em some airtime :D

So DJMW... today was supposed to be the Season Finale... and you are filling in next week (LOVE IT!) but do you know when/where the next season starts? (Please don't say Tuesdays or Wednesdays during the day).

Yea, I gotcha Roffle. Totally understandable. There are so many good DJ's on this station. Understand the need to be fair to all. I just have this routine every other Thursday from 3:00 - 5:00 amd MHF is the biggest part of it.

However, I can say that I won't be on the schedule next season. My work schedule this year will be a bit crazy, so I decided not to renew my show :( I'll still be around the station subbing for other shows though, so 103.3 hasn't heard the last of me yet!

@@ParrScream - IKR? I love some shows so much, but my sleep time is less than normal. I'll love to hear from your sub agenda.

DJMW - Have you ever heard of the band: A Split-Second? I just listened to them for the first time this week. I think you would like them.

I don't believe I've heard of them! Do you have any songs or albums from them in particular that you like? Will have to give them a listen

So far the only thing by them that I have listened to is the "Fles" EP from 1986. I checked them out because I saw Betamaxx (also one of my current favorites) Tweeted that he was snowed in and listening to albums and that EP was one of them. So I'd definitely recommend that EP. I am going to move on to the rest of their catalog after a few hundred more listens to the Fles EP.

@Roffle - Can you recommend the best Heldon album or at least the first one I should listen to? I have been reading about them since DJMW played that song 'Back to Heldon' a bit ago. I loved it.

@ParrScream - I think other folks would have better recommends. I would just see what stuff YouTube or Spotify has and go with what sounds in sync. Then hit the record shops and roll the dice. That is what I do. I Love to browse!

@ Milky Way: I was surprised to hear you on as a sub on Sat.Jan.8, and was only listening on the FM, and you played "World on Fire" by Battle Beast, and I was like WOW !! What a Voice!!! and looked the artist up and Noora also did a Really Great track called "Beyond The Burning Skies", which is also a Super Great track!!!
