OMG...I actually have a part of my first show on cassette in my attic somewhere believe it or not...

I've listened to quite a few best of 2021 shows on WPRB now, and there's still so much new stuff I'm hearing. 2021 churned out a lot a quality music, if nothing else.

Yes! The hard part is choosing what doesn't get in the countdown.

And of course there's always the "How'd I miss that?" moments afterwards.

When I was little my friend & I used to bet when the first snow (of significance) would come...we always guessed the 1st week of December.

B/c we wanted it to snow if course.

Well me too. But that's all I do really -- listen to music.

I admire your ability to keep up with new music. I fell behind after my HMV store closed in 2003.

It's fun! I can't listen to same stuff forever.

But I do still like my old records of course.

I visited a couple used record stores in Boston recently and discovered that I knew most of the albums in the cut-out bins, i.e. unpopular music.

Well a lot of really good music ends up there..

It makes it difficult to find my favorite music on streaming sites.

It's a lot about exposure as you know.

I was exposed to a lot of artists that got dropped by their record label after their first album.

Well streaming services suck anyway

I still believe in physical media anyway

Takes up a lot of space tho
