@Bo- I haven't fished in a while, but I did a lot of crabbin' in recent summers!

I lived on an island in Puget Sound and at low tide I was taught by the locals to use a rake at low tide to catch Dungeness crabs just under the sand.

I love the word Dungeness

@Readie, I grew up trout fishing in Ireland, tried it here in PA for years but never fished the Susquehanna, I did forage for paw paws on it's banks though, wasn't very successful in that endeavor, bad crop.

Someday I'd like to taste a paw paw.

@ambrose It's the Spanish name for the local mountains, etc. The folks who lived around here got the label from archeaologists afaict. If you google 'sinagua culture' you'll get some decent hits.
