I remember it because I was on my way back from a trip to Germany and I was sad I missed most of the action.

One year it was like there was low pressure systems strung all the way out to Japan!!!

Gawd, I remember the 1996 blizzard too. We "only" had like 20 inches in the DC suburbs? 15 because some of it fell as freezing rain? It was certainly a large amount of snow.

......It was the year that I went to this Irish party in the Spring, "Finnegan's Wake" where they had a mannequin of Old Man Winter in a coffin....

Spent 12 hours straight on a Y2K shift. We had a system in New Zealand that was one of the first in the world to flip.

Speaking of Radiohead, would "Follow Me Around" by Radiohead be considered a 2021 song because it was released this month, or a 2001 song because it is from the Kid A & Amnesiac period?
