Strange shit does happen. The world became smaller to me when I saw my high school counselor from Glassboro High walking down the street in Greenwich Village with a hooker (I think) in NYC as a kid. I just don't take anything for granted.

Truly got my attention, and I would listen to it when I was in the LA area, nothing compares to WPRB.

I lived in Thousand Oaks and San Louis Obispo for a few years. California has some cool shit going on. I was Friends with a college DJ and he got me into all kinds of interviews with traveling artists playing sets. PS, I hope they open up the student center soon at PU. That magic needs to happen again.

KSPC in Claremont is a great station, which also has a Spinitron chat. They currently do a lot of "Time Machine" shows from as long ago as 2012 I think.

@Rob I like to check out stuff like that. I used to listen to WPRB online when I lived in Washington state. Just hangin' in Philly now. I would need an antenna on the roof to pick up the radio, but online still works just fine.

i almost love the music better than the show. Anyone ever play the NES game? Its one of the worst. But has a bad chiptune version of the theme

The first time I ever heard the long version of Rocky and Bullwinkle was on this station as I was leaving NYC on I80 years ago. The long version is great AF.

@Rofflestomp, yay! I listen to that online too, though not as much as I used to. When I flew in to SeaTac to go to Olympia, I was disappointed at how quickly I lost the station.

@Rob, yea but if you get Evergreen State College's radio, they are both awesome and awful.

Once you get to Tacoma all bets are off or just weird.

Actually, I had a double bank of presets on my radio for between WA and CA along I-5. I would lock in the good things one time and then find the worst things the next on those same channels. Not all DJ's are as good as Dante. This is why I love this channel.

I was attending a field ornithology meeting and was in a van for the field trips so I couldn't listen to radio except on the way down and the way back.

If I know the moment I am going to to die, I want to bury myself, but I have not figured that problem out to solution yet.
