I've seen the Surfrajettes a couple of times at Asbury Park's surf music fests, instrumentalizing songs one wouldn't consider "surf".
E.g., "I Had Too Much to Dream", "Echo Beach", "She Loves You", "Paint It Black", “Funnel of Love”, “Suffragette City” (retitled “Surfrajette City”, of course).
