"Above 500 Hz" is a head bop to the vocal range where women trek into frequencies most men can only dream of hitting—above 500 Hz. This show celebrates female-fronted screamo, showcasing both the classic trailblazers like Eldritch Anisette, and modern-day talents like awakebutstillinbed. It's not about being “just a girl trying to do screamo,” it's about tapping into one's own voice and technique. Whether it's through breath support, vocal fry, or pushing vocal limits, women bring their own signature sound to skramz. There are no hard rules—just passion and technique. Tune in for intense vocals, guttural growls, unpredictable sound structures, heavy riffs, and a deep dive into the chaotic evolution of female-fronted screamo!
