Songs where production technique and manipulation can shift tone and listener impact. extended mixes, out-takes, live versions, remixes and slowed versions of familiar songs as well as deep cuts by lesser known artists. The larger concept of VER// comes out of age as well as post-pandemic life, where I see the VERSION and MIX on an existential level. Life is constantly mixed and remixed. Trends come and go, only to RETURN slightly different. Places and people who I have grown up with have changed and are sometimes no longer recognizable, sometimes recognizable in name only.
